| Although biological processes can seem straightforward, modelling and
prediction of these processes is extremely complex. Recent developments in
the hardware and software of computing have started to provide resources
which can start cope with the complexity of calculations required. This programme serves to use the application of sophisticated adaptive computational algorithms and high performance distributed computer systems to predict cellular biotechnological processes which can extrapolate from a small number of data observations.
