Elaine Walsh e-Learning Support Specialist and Academic Development Oscail |
BIOGRAPHY I have been an e-Learning Support Specialist in Oscail, Distance Education provider at Dublin City University since 2003. Recently, I have begun work on the Academic Development of the Bachelor of Arts (Hons)/Diploma in Arts in Humanities. I hold a B.A. from the Waterford Institute of Technology, a higher diploma in Education from University College Dublin and a Masters in e-Learning Design and Development from the University of Limerick. I am currently studying for a Doctorate of Education from Queens University in Belfast. RESEARCH INTERESTS My research interest lies in promoting higher order learning within an online environment and the development and evaluation of online assessment techniques.
