Respect & Dignity

Dublin City University (DCU) is a multicultural community that values and promotes equality and diversity across its organisation. The University does not tolerate unlawful discriminatory practices.  DCU believes that its entire staff, students, visitors, contractors, sub-contractors, and others associated with the university (referred to in this policy as “members of the university community”) have the right to enjoy their work and/or study in an environment free from harassment or bullying.  The policy to promote respect and dignity sets out our commitment to the promotion of a campus that recognises and respects individual differences and that rejects harassment or bullying as destructive to the recipient, the harasser or bully, and the university.
