DCU hosts European partners for MEMORABLE Project meeting
DCU Age-Friendly Unit hosted the recent #MEMORABLE Project Transnational Partnership Meeting at Dublin City University.
Over the past few days, DCU welcomed our European project partners from Portugal, Bulgaria, Germany, and the Netherlands. The meeting offered a valuable opportunity to share progress, strengthen collaboration, and showcase both DCU and the city of Dublin.
The #MEMORABLE Project is developing an innovative training curriculum to support cultural institutions in engaging more effectively with people living with dementia. DCU Age-Friendly University Programme has led the development of this curriculum, which will enter its pilot testing phase this autumn.
During the meeting, partners made strong progress across several areas, including the Policy Recommendation Report, sustainability strategy, dissemination and communication activities, and key milestones for the final year of the project.
Thank you to all partners for your enthusiasm, expertise, and commitment. We look forward to the next phase of the project as we work together to help cultural institutions become more inclusive, welcoming, and accessible for people living with dementia, their families, and carers.
