  • Library study spaces will remain closed for the moment but will reopen as soon as  it is possible to do so.

  • The Cregan and O’Reilly libraries will continue to offer a ‘Click & Collect’ book service – further details will be posted on the DCU Libraries webpage.  The ‘Scan and Send’ service will remain in operation.

  • Click & Collect Service This service allows users to request items from the main lending collections for loan. Requested items will be retrieved, issued to the library user, and made available for collection.
  • Scan & Send Service This enables the ordering of digitised scans of library materials subject to copyright rules.

Keep an eye on the DCU library page and social media for updates to services.

Sports Facilities

All Sport facilities (Sports Complex Glasnevin, St. Patrick’s and St. Claire’s) are closed except for limited pre-booked access for elite athletes (as defined by Sport Ireland) to St. Claire’s for individual training only.

The Sports Complex closed on 31 December 2020, in line with government recommendations.

Should restrictions ease in the weeks ahead this will be revised accordingly

With a complete Level 5 lockdown introduced by the Government we have to comply with the restrictions and guidelines and revert our service to our online platforms. Our outdoor classes will cease temporarily and strictly no access to our indoor facility may be obtained until restrictions are lifted. Our soccer center will not be open for bookings during this lockdown period as only elite level sport is permitted.

There are some Instagram online classes available (current members only, please request to follow).

Membership rates for students have been revised to fit the DCU hybrid teaching and learning model in place for this academic year.
