The Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Group examines the integration of ESG factors and their impact beyond the firm’s bottom line with the goal of enhancing the welfare of wider stakeholders and institutions. The group consists of colleagues across multiple business disciplines, including Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Innovation, Operation Management, and Aviation Management, reflecting the broad nature of the ESG research agenda. The group works with international ESG research centres and institutes. The group is focussed on industry-engaged and community-engaged research.
Research Themes

Environment. We study climate change, biodiversity, circular economy, green technology, personal values and sustainable business practices (UN SDG Goal 13, 7 and 11)

Social. Our research includes work on social responsibility and irresponsibility, reduced inequalities, responsible consumption and production (UNSDG Goal 3, 5, 10, 12)
