Academic biography
Dr. Ioannis Ropotos is an Assistant Professor of Finance at DCU Business School, Dublin City University, Ireland. Prior to this role, he was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at UCD. He earned his Ph.D from UCD between 2019 and 2024. His thesis titled Essays in International Finance focused on the topic of firm-level market integration and tail dependence.
His research interests include market integration, empirical asset pricing and factor investing. He has published in esteemed journals such as the Journal of International Money and Finance (ABS3, Q1), the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control (ABS3, Q1) and the Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money (ABS3, Q1).
