Whether you're just starting out or exploring your options, our Heritage Futures events series is for you.
Join us for a day of insight, inspiration, and connection. This event is part of the UK-wide Heritage Futures series and is tailored specifically to young people interested in heritage careers, especially within Belfast and Northern Ireland.
You'll hear from professionals working across the heritage sector, gain practical advice, explore local opportunities, and connect with others who share your interests. Whether you're into museums, archives, historic buildings, or community heritage, this is your chance to learn more and get involved.
So far, our schedule includes:
a workshop and demonstration on Heritage Crafts with CITBNI (Construction Industry Training Board Northern Ireland)
a talk from Oonagh Cranley on her role as Heritage Officer with Newry, Mourne and Down District Council
a talk from Beth Crockett on her role as Marketing and Communications Officer with the Heritage Network
a session with Niamh Connery who will be discussing her PhD research in Anthropology
more to be announced soon!
Come along and start building your future in heritage.
Our Heritage Futures series has been made possible through funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

We aim for all of our events to be inclusive, safe spaces where everyone's views and experiences are respected.
