Cafés
There are six cafés in DCU, five on the Glasnevin Campus and one (Java) on the St. Patrick's campus. You'll find information about each under the tabs below
Fig Tree Café
For the Collins Avenue pedestrian, it is great place to stop on your way in or out of DCU. Hot breakfast and lunch is available daily. Java Republic Coffee and teas. There is a great salad and sandwich & bagel bar for eating in or take out. Check out our range of Savoury Roulades, Pizzas and Quiches available daily.

DCUBS Café
The newly refurbished café has a range of hot and cold snacks available all day. Hot lunch served daily 12:00 - 14:30 and evening meals 16:00 - 17:30. Java Republic offers coffee and teas throughout the day.
If you are on an Evening/Masters Programme, this café is ideal before your class starts and for breaks.
Vending machine also in place for after hours.

Invent Café
It may the smallest café on campus, but it is big on ambition. If Italian coffee is your vice, Bellagio coffee is available (the only place on campus). Soup, sandwiches and delicious bagels available.
Location: Ground floor of Invent, Glasnevin Campus

Library Cafe
During the first few weeks of Semester One, you may not find this café, but it will become your living room, especially near exam time. It is in the basement of the Library, so it is great place to go when you are taking a break from studying. The library's 'quiet' rule does not apply here, so eat and chat away. It serves great coffee and sandwiches and has hot meals from lunch time onwards.

What else? It has a chill out area with comfy couches, Wifi. It opens on Sundays before and during the exams.

Zest Bar
ZEST has great smoothies and juices and there are three different sizes to suit your thirst and pocket. If you feel like experimenting, create your own smoothie from the array of fruits and juices. For those working out, try the protein and energy bars. Maud's Ice-cream and Starbucks in house coffee is available here also. Bagels and Pizza are always a popular choice.
