Upcoming Events

Following advice from the Irish government on 12 March 2020, all Chaplaincy events have been postponed until further notice. This is a precautionary measure to limit the spread of the coronavirus Covid-19. We will reschedule where possible. Eucharistic Ministry Course

Monday evenings 6-7pm at St Patrick's College.

Dates: Thursday 27 February, Thursday 5 March, Thursday 19 March, with a commissioning Mass on Thursday 2 April.

You must attend all dates.

Regular Events

Free Student Lunch

Every Tuesday during term time, the DCU Inter Faith Centre on the Glasnevin campus hosts a free student lunch. It runs from 1-2pm and is a great place to meet different people from across the university. All are welcome

DCU International Erasmus Students Meet & Greet

Every Wednesday during term time, the DCU International Erasmus Student Network meet in the Inter Faith Centre on the Glasnevin campus. It runs from 2-4pm and is a great way for international students to find each other – and find out more about both DCU and Ireland while they’re at it. Tea, coffee and snacks provided.

Student Mass Social

Every Thursday during term time from 1.05pm, the Chaplaincy runs a special student mass in Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Chapel, St Patrick’s College, Drumcondra. Following that service, all are invited to join the Chaplaincy team for food and drink. Prior mass attendance is not compulsory. It’s a great way to meet staff and students from disciplines other than your own.

DCU Yoga Society

The Yoga Society meets at the Inter Faith Centre every Tuesday evening (6.30-7.30pm) and Wednesday afternoon (3-4pm) during termtime. It's €5 per class but there's a discount for Yoga Society members. All levels are catered for, so please come along.

DCU Jesus Youth Group

A weekly holy hour of adoration in the presence of the eucharist held during term time. Prayer, reflection and song with Jesus Youth from from 5.30pm every Tuesday.

DCU Choir

DCU has three choirs - the staff choir, the gospel choir (which is open to non-DCU participants), and the Age Friendly University choir - all of which rehearse at the Inter Faith Centre during term times. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for times and dates.

DCU Neurodivergent Society

Meets in the Inter Faith Centre for afternoon tea every second Tuesday during termtime (3-5pm). Dates for current term: 28 January, 11 February, 25 February, 10 March, 24 March, 7 April. 

Alcoholics Anonymous

The Inter Faith Centre on the Glasnevin campus hosts weekly private meetings at 7.30pm every Tuesday.

Lifering
