This November, DCU Writer-in-Residence Dave Rudden invites all fellow fans of Terry Pratchett to an informal celebration of Discworld at Dublin City University.

The event will take place on Saturday, 5th November from 10am - 3pm.

Join authors, actors, academics, and librarians for dramatic readings of favourite Discworld scenes, panel discussions on wit and witchery, and our keynote interview - Douglas Mackinnon.

Douglas Mackinnon is an award-winning Scottish director, with credits including Jekyll, Doctor Who, Sherlock, and all six episodes of Amazon’s adaptation of Good Omens, the novel by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Douglas will be interviewed by RTE’s Rick O’Shea about the process of bringing Pratchett’s work to the screen, as well as answering audience questions.

This event is suitable for Pratchett fans of all sizes and species. Cosplay is not required but is very welcome!
