Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

On behalf of all our staff and students, we would like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year - we have some information regarding visitor access to our three academic campuses during the Christmas period.

Glasnevin Campus

There will be no vehicular access via the Ballymun gate, when the University is closed, from close of business Tuesday 23rd December until Friday 2nd January at 9am. Vehicular access to Campus Residences outside of these hours will be via Collins Avenue. The barrier at the Albert College will be left open.

St Patrick’s Campus 

The campus will be closed from Tuesday 23rd December at 5.30pm, to Friday 2nd January. Campus will reopen on Monday 5th January 2025.

There are two exceptions: 

Christmas Day  - the main entrance gate will be open for Mass goers from 8.30am to 12.30pm

Sunday 4th January - the main entrance gate will be open for Mass goers from 10.30am to 2.30pm 

Security on the St Patrick’s Campus is in operation 24/7, 365 days a year. The St Patrick's Campus Control Centre is located in the Gate Lodge at the main vehicular entrance at Drumcondra Road. You can contact the control centre on 01 700 5999.

 

DCU All Hallows

There is no vehicular access onto the All Hallows Campus when closed. 

The campus will be closing at 5.30pm on Tuesday 23rd December at 5.30pm, to Friday 2nd January. Campus will reopen on Monday 5th January 2025.

Security on the All Hallows Campus is in operation 24/7, 365 days a year. The control centre is located on the ground floor of Purcell House. You can contact the control centre on 01 700 5999.
