After almost twenty years away from formal education returning to study felt daunting. The MSc in Public Policy proved to be exactly the right decision. What initially attracted me was the breadth of the programme; modules spanning political theory, philosophy and practical areas like housing policy offered something genuinely unique. The opportunity to attend classes in person and engage with such a diverse and stimulating cohort made the experience all the richer.
The faculty brought real energy to the lectures, and while the workload was demanding, it remained manageable even alongside a busy professional role and life with a young family. What stood out most was the ability to apply learning directly to my day job in real time. I feel the programme has sharpened my thinking and broadened my perspective on the policy challenges I face daily. I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone working in a policy related area considering a return to education.
