"The MSc in Education and Training (eLearning) gave me an opportunity to think about what I really care about in my role, particularly in the final year project as I had the opportunity to research an area of interest based on a challenge within my own work environment. It gave me the confidence to make a change in my workplace and it instilled a confidence that I could make an impact in my role.

"A lot has changed since I completed the programme. I have since changed my role and this programme helped to equip me with the skills and confidence to go for a new role and I learnt a lot both from theory and practical components of the programme. 

"One of the big things for me was having the confidence in developing small-scale research projects, and this programme showed me that you could actually make a difference in your workplace through this. Since graduating, I have promoted action research projects to others so it’s absolutely had a huge impact on my role, and also influenced others.

In particular it gives you an opportunity to really focus on an aspect of your work that you care about and to take on a research project associated with it.
