Malvern Zetasizer Ultra DLS

The Malvern Zetasizer Ultra is a versatile instrument for measuring particle size (DLS), zeta potential (ELS), and particle concentration. It is widely used to study the stability of emulsions and formulations, characterize nanoparticles in biotechnology and pharmaceutical research, and support shelf-life and quality control studies. Its high sensitivity and rapid measurements make it ideal for research and development across materials science, life sciences, and industrial applications.

Specifications:

• Capable of measuring particle sizes from below 1 nm to 10 µm (DLS)
• Can also measure the zeta potential of particles and molecules, indicating sample stability and/or propensity to aggregate (ELS)
• Multi-Angle Dynamic Light Scattering (MADLS) scheme for absolute confidence in particle and molecular size distribution analysis
• Non-Invasive Back-Scatter (NIBS) optics for versatile, high sensitivity, particle and molecular size measurements
• Particle concentration measurements
• Optical filter wheel with fluorescence filter to allow measurement of fluorescent samples without impairing overall system sensitivity.  Also includes polarization filters for DDLS measurements
• Capillary cell for low volume measurements (down to 3uL)
• Can operaure at temperature range of 0–120°C, allowing for temperature-dependent studies

Malvern Mastersizer 3000 Particle Size Analyser

The Malvern Mastersizer 3000 is a versatile laser diffraction particle size analyzer capable of measuring particle size distributions in both wet and dry dispersions, across a range from nanometers to millimeters. It works by analyzing the intensity of light scattered as a laser passes through a dispersed sample, providing rapid and accurate particle sizing.
