Changeleader Event on the 22nd October 2025
On the day, Changeleaders from across the network, travelled to Dublin to meet in DCU, St. Patrick's campus. It was a day full of rich and engaging discussion about the roles we play, as Changeleaders, in the network.
The day kicked off with a film festival that demonstrated the exciting Changemaker practices that are taking place across the network. It was an exciting way to get a glimpse into other schools in the network and led to some great conversations throughout the day. Following this, we engaged in some group discussions that looked at defining the role of the Changeleader and how we can support each other, our schools and the network. Other topics that were discussed on the day included: Cineáltas and Changemaker Practices; The Berry Street Education Model and Embodied Cognition.
An overview was also given on the upcoming, new Changemaker Resource Website. This new website will store all of our Changemaker resources from across the network, have reminders for upcoming events and registration links, publish newsletters and act as a one-stop-shop to support the needs of the network.
Overall, it was an extremely enjoyable day, which had plenty of opportunity to chat with other Changeleaders from across the network. Materials that were shown on the day and ideas that were collected will be available on the new resource website soon.
