Dublin City University is delighted to host Pieta's Darkness into Light 5K walk on 9 May at 4.15am. This event is open to all; including university staff and students, as well as the local community.

DCU values Pieta's work, offering support to all who need it. Pieta is Ireland's national charity for suicide and self-harm prevention. Darkness into Light is it's primary fundraising event of the year, raising crucial funds for their life-saving free services. The university is proud to be hosting Darkness into Light and supporting such a worthy cause for another consecutive year.

We wish to invite everyone in the local area to DCU's Glasnevin campus at 4.15am on Saturday, 9 May. Attendees will begin their walk from DCU's Glasnevin Campus before travelling down Ballymun Road, across Griffith Avenue, up the Swords Road, and returning to campus via Collins Avenue. Tea & Coffee will be provided. It is sure to be a enjoyable and wholesome event. We have seen people walk, run and cycle the route with friends, family and pets.

To raise money for Pieta, attendees are asked to register at the link below.
