Lectures for LauraLynn

The 12ish lectures of Christmas in aid of LauraLynn was initiated by Professor Brian Harney commencing November 2024. It was born of a motivation to find opportunities to remain engaged, connected and provide learning opportunities for DCU alumni and the broader community, while also leveraging goodwill and time to raise awareness and funds for LauraLynn.

LauraLynn is Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice providing free palliative and hospice care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families from all across Ireland.

As part of the 12ish lectures of Christmas Brian conducts lectures, facilitated workshops, team building or learning experiences. which are either sponsored by companies, alumni groups and/or individual participants. To date the LauraLynn lecture series has raised €13,957 from organised talks/events involving 438 attendees and some 157 donations.
