Winter Chamber Music Festival returns to DCU!

If you have been before you’ll know The Fidelio Trio Winter Chamber Music Festival is a weekend of exceptional live music at Belvedere House, DCU and the National Botanic Gardens of Ireland. 

This year they open on Friday with a concert celebrating Clara Schumann that includes music by our DCU colleague Rhona Clarke, a world premier by local Drumcondra based composer Nick Roth in the Botanic Gardens on Saturday lunchtime, a free pre-concert film screening at 6.30pm of Fidelio Trio and dance in MacMillan’s interpretation of Hamlet, Sea of Troubles, followed by the evening concert at 7.30pm where the composer Simon Mawhinney introduces his new piece In Three alongside music by Haydn, Mendelssohn and Malaysian composer Tazul Tajuddin. Join them again on Sunday afternoon at 3pm for the final concert The Wind and Sea.
