DCU in the Community launches new hub

Website details all facilities and services available across DCU’s campuses

A new hub has been launched showcasing the work of 'DCU in the Community'.

DCU in the Community is managed by the University's Office of Civic Engagement.

DCU prides itselve on being a ‘university of place’ that works with and for our local communities and the wider region. Each week, thousands of community members visit our campuses to take advantage of our facilities.

Staff across the University are also involved in a wide array of engagements to support and advance North Dublin.

Speaking about the new hub, Director of External Engagement at DCU, Laura Mahoney said

“This new website showcases the diversity of our community engagement, including the publicly accessible facilities we provide, community educational courses and programmes, our partnerships with local authorities, the work of our Access Office, and the contribution students and staff make through volunteering.

DCU is anchored to our local community, and that’s why our engagement extends way beyond our campuses and into the wider region.”
