Threaded Tales Book Launch!

Celebrating creativity and connection across generations

DCU Age Friendly University were thrilled to launch Threaded Tales, a beautiful book written in collaboration. The publication marks the culmination of a creative journey led by participants of DCU’s Writing for Children module, with illustrations by 4th-class students at St. Colmcille’s Primary School in Swords and puppetry brought to life by Transition Year (TY) students at Clonturk Community College.

The launch event took place at The U Building on DCU’s Glasnevin Campus last week, featuring readings from the book, allowing audiences to experience the magic of its pages aloud, alongside showcases of the puppetry work. Attendees were also able to purchase limited copies of the book on the day.
