University Events Team

University Events Team (UET)

The UET is responsible for the project management and delivery of DCU’s flagship institutional ceremonies, including Graduations and Honorary Conferrings. The team provides protocol management for high-profile dignitaries and offers event planning and delivery support to the DCU community for a broad range of events.

As the University’s dedicated commercial events department, Meet in DCU specialises in professional venue hire and full-service conference management. This includes managing meeting spaces across all campuses and a range of on-site residential accommodation options.

Research Project Administration Team (RPA) 

The DCU RPA Team provides research event support services on a funded basis. The service is comparable to external Professional Conference Organisers and supports a diverse portfolio of research events including conferences (national and international), academic symposia, workshops and project meetings within Ireland.

Alumni Office

The Alumni team organise events, initiatives and reunions at home and abroad providing an engagement platform for DCU's 120,000 graduates. These opportunities ensure our alumni remain deeply connected with each other and actively engaged with DCU throughout their professional careers and into retirement.

DCU Library Services

DCU Library

The DCU Library Outreach and Engagement Team is responsible for organising and hosting events in DCU's three library buildings. The team supports members of the DCU community who wish to host their own event or exhibition in these spaces. The team also engages with local community groups and primary and secondary schools to deliver creative initiatives.

DCU Student Life

Office of Student Life (OSL) / DCU Students’ Union

The OSL provides a platform (funding, facilities, and governance support) for the Students' Union and over 140 student-led Clubs & Societies to host student engagement events and activities. The OSL also manages bookable meeting rooms and event spaces in the U Building.
