EMERGENCE Residency: Open Call
Dublin City University's Institute of Climate and Society is delighted to announce a new open call for two paid EMERGENCE residencies in a well-equipped studio space. This opportunity is geared towards professional dance artists who are based in Ireland and develop work around ecology, environmental justice, and/or climate change through their movement practice.
The residency creates space for two dance artists to immerse themselves in their practice, follow lines of inquiry, undertake artistic research, and/or develop new work, with no expectation to present outcomes at the end of the residency. For more details on how to apply visit DCU Arts and Culture.
Applications from historically marginalized communities including (but not limited to) Black, LGBTQ+, Disabled, and/or rural artists are especially encouraged to apply.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, July 3rd at 5:00PM. All applicants will be notified of the outcome by Friday July 10th.
