New Enterprise Development Module

DCUBS undergraduate programmes feature a New Enterprise Development module, which introduces you to the theory and practice of entrepreneurship.
The theory section provides an understanding of the role of the entrepreneur in innovation and new business formation in Ireland.

The practical section provides you with an understanding of the processes involved in initiating and developing a new business and aims to develop in students the entrepreneurial skills required for such a venture.

DCU Invent Enterprise Centre

The Invent enterprise centre is DCU’s specialist incubation hub for new businesses.  If you have good business ideas and want to explore the options, Invent staff can help you to develop further your entrepreneurial skills.

Supports available through Invent include access to a range of experts, a tailor-made business development programme, cheap rent, and access to an extensive network of contacts.
