10 Years Since the Brexit Referendum: The Future of Ireland and Europe
The Centre for Cross Border Cooperation Innaugural Annual Lecture and Dublin City University Brexit Institute Annual Lecture, hosted by the Department of Foreign Affairs will take place on Monday, 15 June 2026 – 17:30 – 19:00 at Iveagh House, Dublin.
In June 2016, the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union — a decision that reshaped the political landscape of Ireland, Britain, and Europe. Ten years on, as Ireland prepares to assume the Presidency of the Council of the EU, this event brings together leading scholars and policymakers to reflect on the past, present, and future of Ireland’s cross-border relations, European integration, and global democracy.
