Belong @ DCU : Saturday to Connect and Reset

The Saturday Check-In

Need a moment to reset? The Saturday Check-In is a relaxed, low-pressure event for first-year autistic and ADHD students, including students who self-identify.

Take some time to pause, reflect on Semester 1, and get ready for the weeks ahead, in a space where you can participate in whatever way feels comfortable for you.

Connect with Peers: Meet diversity student ambassadors who understand first-year challenges.

Build Practical Skills: Explore self-regulation, executive functioning, and communication strategies.

Get Organised: Create a schedule that works around your routine, deadlines, and recovery time.

Find DCU Supports: Discover the supports and resources available across campus.

Enjoy a Flexible Space: Quiet zones and flexible participation options are available throughout the event.

It’s your chance to recharge and take control of your workload before exams.
