Introducing DCU's Status Page

Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) has launched a new Status Page, giving students and staff a quick, reliable way to check the availability of key DCU digital services. It supports the DTS mission of empowering the DCU community through modern digital solutions, and helps deliver secure, resilient, and human centred digital services.

What the Status Page provides

The Status Page is a single source of truth for the current health of university systems. At a glance, you can see whether a service is operating normally, experiencing disruption, or undergoing scheduled maintenance.

As Will McDermott, DTS Infrastructure Manager, explains, “The Status Page is part of our commitment to clearer communication and a better service experience. It helps students and staff check service availability quickly, without unnecessary uncertainty.”

Why this matters

Clear, timely service information is especially important during high demand periods, such as registration, exams, and assignment deadlines. The Status Page helps you plan around scheduled maintenance, understand what is happening when a service is disrupted, and decide the next best step.

Key features

  • Real time service status with colour coded indicators;
  • Planned maintenance notifications;
  • Incident history, including updates and resolutions;
  • Email subscriptions, so you can receive updates on the services you care about.

Accessing the Status Page

Students and Staff are encouraged to bookmark DTS Status Page and subscribe to updates to stay informed of the current status of DCU systems and services. You can access the page directly via Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) website.
