Faculty of Engineering And Computing

Faculty Research Day

DCU Faculty of Engineering and Computing hosted its Research Day on Tuesday, 24th January 2017 with the theme of "Fostering Inter-Disciplinary Research". There were three talks from our post-doctoral community, Dr. Inam Ul Ahad from MME, Dr. Haithem Alfi from Computing and Dr. Patrick Bradley from EE. The event also saw quick-fire presentations from 51 PhD students, from across the three Schools within the Faculty, the Schools of Computing, Electronic Engineering and Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, showcasing a wide variety of research from our Faculty. The standard of poster presentations was very high and it was difficult to separate them but the panel managed to select the top 5 (in no particular order) who will also be nominated for the President's Research Day next month.
