DCU renews partnership with 30% Club Ireland to offer female scholarship
The scholarship will cover the full cost of a master's programme for a part‑time female student on any of the Faculty’s master’s courses, including the MSc in Computing, MEng in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, and MEng in Electronic and Computer Engineering. The initiative continues to play a key role in widening access to advanced technical education and strengthening female representation in leadership pathways across the sector.
Founded in 2015, 30% Club Ireland brings together senior leaders from more than 300 organisations, representing over 650,000 employees, all working collectively to improve gender diversity at every level of industry. Its scholarship programme, delivered in partnership with leading universities and supported by industry partners such as PwC, aims to address the persistent underrepresentation of women in postgraduate management and technical programmes.
Applicants for the 2026 scholarship must meet the entry requirements for their chosen programme and submit:
- a curriculum vitae outlining qualifications and professional experience
- a 750‑word letter of application explaining their interest in the scholarship and identifying their preferred programme
