DCU Children's and Young Adult Literature Research Network

The DCU Children’s and Young Adult Literature Research Network is an initiative of the School of English with the aim of:

• advancing the academic study of children’s and young adult literature

• contributing to scholarship and research in the discipline,  but especially in relation to Irish children's and young adult literature

• supporting the school’s MA in Children’s and Young Adult Literature degree programme (established in 1997, and the first master’s degree in the discipline offered by an Irish university)

• creating links with national and international bodies engaged with children’s and young adult literature

• promoting children’s and young adult literature across the humanities

• drawing on the expertise of colleagues working in related disciplines.
