Dr Martin Brown delivers keynote address at EJER Conference
EQI Research Director, Dr. Martin Brown, delivered a keynote address at the 7th International Eurasian Educational Research Congress organised by Andalou University, Turkey. Speaking to the topic of ‘ Global Messages From the Edge of Europe and Beyond: The Practical Challenges and Realities of Education Children during the Covid-19 Pandemic Dr. Brown drew on his extensive experience of engaging with students and teachers on the island of Ireland to explore the nature of our emerging responses to Covid-19. The work of the EQI Shaped Professional Network in Northern Ireland serves (Denise can you put in a hyperlink in here?? ) as an interesting example of how school communities can be facilitated in creating new, supportive professional networks to enhance their capacities to meet the unprecedented and unexpected demands that have been placed on them in recent months.
