Mexican Delegation Visit

We were delighted to welcome delegates from the Mexican State of Nuevo Leon to DCU Business School last week to discuss potential academic and research opportunities. They were met by DCUBS Executive Dean, Dr Anne Sinnott and DCUBS Director for Executive & International Programmes, Dr John McMackin.

Led by the Minister of Labour from the Mexican State of Nuevo Leon, Hector Morales Rivera, 26 representatives of unions, employers unions, universities, public and private sector  are on a working visit, which will include London, Manchester, Liverpool and Dublin.

Nuevo Leon’s delegation included representatives of the state government, Nuevo Leon State University, The Workers Confederation of Mexico (CTM) and The Revolutionary Confederation of Workers (CROC); enterprises like Acerotek, Alfa group and Vitro Corporative, as well as institutions from the private sector such as National Chamber of Commerce (CANACO) and the Employers Union of the Mexican Republic (COPARMEX).
