DCU Nigerian Postgraduate Scholarship
Overview
The DCU Nigerian Talent Postgraduate Scholarship is designed to support students showing high academic performance, who wish to pursue a full time postgraduate programme at DCU. As well as a commitment to academic excellence, the scholarship seeks candidates who are dedicated to promoting links between Nigeria and DCU during their studies and as alumni.
These scholarships are open to applicants who attend the DCU Nigeria Open Day and intend to commence their postgraduate studies at DCU in September 2026.
Scholarship winners will be selected through a lottery process, based on applications who have met all requirements.
The Nigerian Talent Scholarship is not open to recipients of any other DCU scholarships and the scholarship cannot be deferred to a future academic year.
Two scholarships will be awarded:
- One scholarship valued at €10,000.
- One scholarship valued at €5,000.
The scholarship amount will automatically be deducted from the tuition fees for the September 2026 entry only.
SRO will notify the successful candidates by email.
Please note that no appeals process or individual feedback will be provided to unsuccessful applicants.
- Applicants must be a citizen of Nigeria.
- Hold at least a 2.1 Honours undergraduate degree (or equivalent).
- Attend the Nigerian DCU open day event and submit an application to an eligible full-time postgraduate programme on the day of the event.
- Fulfill all programme admission requirements, accept the offer and pay the required deposit within two weeks of receiving the offer.
- Not be in receipt of any other DCU scholarship.
- If a student withdraws during Semester 1, the scholarship will not be applicable.
- Successful recipients must be prepared to engage with events, marketing, and social media as an ambassador for DCU during their studies and as an alumnus.
- This scholarship is available for full-time postgraduate programmes only. Part-time programmes are not eligible.

DCU Business School
- MSc in Management (Operations and Supply Change)
- MSc in Human Resource Management
- MSc in Business Analytics
- MSc in International Accounting and Business
- MSc in Global Management (Digital Disruption)
Science and Health
- MSc in Financial Mathematics
- MSc in Astrophysics and Relativity
Humanities and Social Science
- All programs within this faculty are eligible for the scholarship!
Students interested in applying must follow these steps:
- Attend the DCU Nigeria Open Day.
- On the day of the event, submit an application to the programme of their choice, through the DCU Student Application Portal.
- Fulfill all admissions requirements for your chosen programme.
- Upon receiving an offer, accept and pay the required deposit within two weeks.
