From Georgia Southern University to Dublin City University.

DCU Global and School of Applied Language & Intercultural Studies (SALIS) had the pleasure of welcoming a group of Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies students from Georgia Southern University to Dublin City University.

The group was joined by Prof. Jennifer Bruen, Head of School, Dr. Olga Springer DCU's MA Gender and Sexuality Studies Programme Chair, and Brenda Meira, Regional Advisor for North America & Study Abroad for a day of academic engagement and cultural exploration.

The visit featured presentations from faculty on DCU Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, including Prof. Debbie Ging, followed by a lively Q&A session with students.

The group enjoyed time in Dublin city centre before taking part in an LGBTQIA+ guided tour at Collins Barracks, National Museum of Ireland. We are delighted to strengthen connections with Georgia Southern University and to share the DCU experience with visiting students and colleagues.
