Research Integrity Training Programme
DCU's Research Integrity Programme, jointly developed by Research Support and the Graduate Studies Office, is delivered by DCU staff with expertise in Research Integrity issues.
The programme includes four training sessions, delivered throughout the academic year, and an online Research Integrity training module (available via self-registration on Loop), which year-one research students are required to complete by May 3rd 2019.
Online Research Integrity Training Module
The online module covers every stage of the research process, highlighting the issues that can arise while planning, conducting and reporting research.
Available in five discipline areas and featuring a range of interactive activities, the course provides researchers with a better understanding of their obligations and responsibilities as researchers. On passing the online module, participants can print a certificate of completion.
Four Information Sessions
In addition to the online module, DCU's Research Integrity Programme includes a series of
information sessions for research students to attend throughout the acadmic year. Sessions include:
- 15.00- 17.00 Wednesday 28 November 2018: Introduction to Research Integrity
- 10.00-12.00 Thursday 7 February 2019: Data Management & GDPR
- 14.00 - 15.30 Wednesday 13th March 2019 (tbc): Ethical Considerations and DCU's Ethical Review Process
- 10.00 - 11.30 Wednesday 10th April 2019: Dissemination & Authorship
