Blood Test Charges

Students are not able to self refer for blood tests, the tests will need to have been requested by a GP / Consultant. 

Booking an appointment with the GP in DCU Health Centre:

You can book in and have a consultation with our GP to discuss what you want done and they will specify what tests would best suit your needs. We will then book you into one of our blood clinics on a Tuesday morning in Glasnevin and a Thursday morning in St. Patricks campus. 

The cost of this appointment is €35.00 (€20 for doctors consultation and €15 for the blood test). 

Consultant / Own GP Referral

If you already have a letter from your own GP / Consultant stating what tests need to be done, you can forward this list via email to us. We can then book you in directly with one of the nurses during our blood clinics which run on a Tuesday morning in Glasnevin and a Thursday morning in St. Patricks campus. 

The cost of this appointment is €15.00.
