School hosts successful ESHSI 2025 Annual Conference

The DCU School of History and Geography hosted the 52nd Annual Conference of the Economic and Social History Society of Ireland (ESHSI) at the St Patrick's Campus on 5-6 Dec. 2025. More than 65 people attended presentations by 38 emerging and established scholars on aspects of Irish social and economic history from the medieval to the modern periods. The success of the conference was thanks not only to the high quality of the papers, but also to the contributions of staff and students of the School who served as organisers, assistants, speakers and chairs and to the DCU catering team who kept everyone caffeinated and fed.
