NEW Partnership between DCU School of Law and Government and BARBRI

DCU School of Law and Government has partnered with BARBRI to give our students and alumni discounted training, workshops, and resources for the SQE and US Bar exams.

Dublin City University’s School of Law and Government has entered into a new partnership with BARBRI, a global leader in legal education, to provide our law students and alumni with discounted access to BARBRI training for the New York State Bar Exam and the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) for England and Wales. Those who register for SQE1 and US Bar preparation courses will receive a 20% discount off the published price.

Alongside these discounts, BARBRI will deliver a series of training opportunities throughout the academic year, including online SQE taster classes, information sessions on the SQE and US Bar exams, and employability skills workshops.

Students and alumni will also have access to a range of online resources to support their preparation and career development, covering the SQE, the US Bar, and international legal careers more broadly.

Upcoming start dates for BARBRI training courses include:

  • SQE1 July 2026: 40-week (Sep/Oct 2025), 20-week (Feb 2026), 10-week (Apr-May 2026)
  • SQE1 Jan 2027: 40-week (Apr 2026), 20-week (Aug 2026), 10-week (Oct 2026)
  • Extended US Bar Prep: 6 month (Feb/Sept 2026), 10 month (Apr/Oct 2026)
