The DCU Educational Disadvantage Centre in conjunction with the DCU Church of Ireland Centre are inviting people to attend their seminar on 'Educational Underachievement and Early School Leaving in Northern Ireland: Evidence, Inequalities and Emerging Policy Directions'.

The keynote speaker is Professor Noel Purdy, Director of Research and Scholarship, Stranmillis University College. Prof Purdy was Chair of the Expert Panel Report on Educational Underachievement in Northern Ireland 2021.

The panel will feature Dr Jennifer Cummins TD, Social Democrats spokesperson for Education; and Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science; Marie Sherlock TD, Labour spokesperson for Health; and Roisin Hickey, Principal, Our Lady of Victories, BNS, Ballymun
