10th Congress of European Research in Mathematics Education

From 1st to 5th February 2017, over 800 leaders in mathematics education will attend CERME 10, the 10th Congress of European Research in Mathematics Education at the Croke Park Convention Centre.  This congress, hosted by DCU Institute of Education is the largest conference in mathematics education ever to take place in Ireland.

The leaders, drawn from 29 countries across Europe as well as 22 from further afield, play a major role in defining and shaping how mathematics is learned and taught for the benefit of society, now and for decades to come.  Themes to be addressed across 23 Thematics Working Groups will include:

  • Technology
  • University and early childhood mathematics
  • Assessment
  • Applications & Modelling
  • Classroom Resources
  • Geometry
  • Statistics
  • Diversity

There will be three plenary sessions on early years mathematics, university mathematics and solic findings in mathematics education.
