Undergraduate Merit Awards
ASTI Award
The ASTI Award is presented to the students with the highest grade in final year Professional Placement from the BSc in Science and Mathematics Education; the BSc in Physical Education with Biology, and the BSc in Physical Education with Mathematics programmes.

Brian Ruane Award
The Brian Ruane Award is presented in memory of the late Brian Ruane, a staff member in the School of STEM Education, Innovation and Global Studies. It is awarded to the student with the highest marks in the Research Module of the Bachelor of Education (BEd) programme.

Carlisle and Blake Award
The Carlisle and Blake Award, a Department of Education and Youth award, is awarded to the student achieving the highest marks in the core Education and Professional Placement modules of the Bachelor of Education (BEd).

Joe Dunne Medal
The Joe Dunne Medal is given to the student receiving the highest marks overall in the subject of Human Development in the BA Joint Honours in Humanities. The medal was established in honour of Prof Joe Dunne, a member of the Education Department in St Patrick’s College for 40 years.

Fred Klotz Memorial Award
The Fred Klotz Memorial Award is presented to a student from the BEd who achieves the highest mark in Mathematics Education and/or Digital Learning in their final year. The award is in memory of Fred Klotz who lectured in mathematics and coding in St Patrick's College, Drumcondra.

The INTO Vere Foster Award is awarded to the student who obtains the highest marks in Professional Placement and Curriculum areas of Education over the course of the Bachelor of Education (BEd) programme.

The Vincentian Award honours the contribution of the Vincentian Order to the preparation of teachers for Catholic schools. It is presented to the top student in the Certificate in Religious Studies.
