Four students from the DCU Institute of Education have been awarded places on the Education University of Hong Kong Summer School programme, where along with students from around the world, they will participate in educational modules as well as engaging in cultural activities.

In July, students Ian Blake, Grainne Buckley, Rebecca Conway and Khadidja Ouidah, will travel to Hong Kong on the funded opportunity where they will undertake two academic modules as part of the programme and connect with peers across the four week programme.

Speaking of the opportunity, Associate Dean for Engagement, Partnerships and Internationalisation, Aisling Murray Fleming said, ‘This is a phenomenal opportunity for our students to embark on an international and well-respected summer programme where they will continue their education and training while also benefiting from a wide range of cultural activities. We wish them well on the programme and look forward to hearing about it on their return later in the summer.’

The annual summer school programme at the Education University of Hong Kong invites students from around the world including the US, United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Ireland among others to participate in the month-long summer school.
