Blackberry Email Set-up

  1. Open a web browser and log on to:

    Vodafone: http://www.mobileemail.vodafone.ie/
    O2: https://bis.eu.blackberry.com/html?brand=o2mailie

  2. Click Create a new account
  3. Enter the device pin and IMEI code. These can be located on the side of the box, or by clicking Settings, then Status from the Blackberry menu
  4. Enter a username and password to create the account. This username and password will be used in the future to change any e-mail account settings associated with the device.
  5. To associate a DCU e-mail address with the device, enter the e-mail address and password on the next screen.
  6. On the next screen showing the e-mail account set up, click ‘Edit’ then ‘Advanced Settings’
  7. Change imap.dcu.ie to mail.dcu.ie. Save settings, e-mail setup is now complete.
  8. To add/remove/edit e-mail accounts associated with the device, log in again with the username and password created in step 4.

Blackberry DCU Apps gCal Setup

  1. On the Blackberry browse to “m.google.com”.
  2. Download and install Google Sync for Blackberry
  3. Browse to the installed application (generally in “Downloads” folder on home screen).
  4. Open application, press the blackberry button and go into settings.
  5. Here enter the username and password for your gCal account with DCU
  6. Scroll down to select configure sync
  7. Select the items that you would like to sync between your Blackberry and your Google Calendar
  8. Save and select “Sync now” to sync your data.
  9. In options you can select how often and how much data is synced with your Google account.

At present ISS do not offer support in the Configuration of Windows Phones.
