Fearless: The journalism of Mary Raftery  

Mary Raftery is the only Irish journalist whose work has led to the establishment of two government commissions of inquiry. This exhibition marks the 20th anniversary of the original transmission of the groundbreaking RTÉ documentary series 'States of Fear', which was researched and produced by Mary, and also covers her extensive print and broadcast journalism. It was curated by Dr. Mark O'Brien (School of Communications) and the Special Collections & Archives Directorate, in close collaboration with family and friends of Mary Raftery, using material from her archives deposited with us. The graphic work has been produced by Vermillion Design.

Materials from our previous installation Discover: Special Collections & Archives have been relocated to our Reading Room on the lower ground floor. We welcome proposals from faculty for future exhibition topics and projects.

Our Gallery is located on the Ground Floor of O’Reilly Library, DCU Glasnevin Campus.
