      Goujons from the Nubar
      Find the Fifth Goujon Competition!

All the goujons have been found!

Back in 2017, the DCU student body was thrown into a culinary crisis when the popular NuBar order of goujon and chips was suddenly missing a fifth goujon, which left students both disappointed and hungry.

The fifth goujon was re-instated following a media outcry and an unstoppable #BringBackOurGoujon campaign but the feelings of hurt and betrayal linger still.

DCU Library is helping to heal any lingering heartache with our 'find the fifth goujon' competition.

      How to Enter:

From Monday 18th September, find one of five missing goujon pictures hidden around O'Reilly Library with the help of the clues provided below.

Bring the picture to the library help desk on the ground floor to claim your prize.

      Prize:

      A €10 Nubar voucher

All the goujons have been found! Thanks everyone for participating and we hope the winners are enjoying their vouchers!

      Clues:

      1. The first place to go in O'Reilly Library if you need help

      2. Use your library card to borrow or return books here yourself

      3. Can't connect to Wi-Fi? Not sure how the printers work? All your IT questions will be answered here

      4. Use these library computers to search for print books on Library Search

      5. The perfect room for group study (if you can make it to the 2nd floor)

If you somehow managed to miss the fifth goujon crisis of 2017 here are some of the headlines that took the internet by storm:

"DCU messed with the iconic Nubar chicken goujons, and the students are raging"

"Dublin college students unite because of a missing chicken goujon"

"After a LOT of heartbreak, DCU students are getting their 5th goujon back"

      Terms & Conditions:

1.The competition is open to all students - one voucher can be claimed per student.

      2. Winners will be required to show their valid DCU ID student card before receiving their prize and will be asked for their permission to use their name and image on the library's social media platforms.
