Parking arrangements for the DCU St Patrick's Campus on 19th May 2026
After 3.30pm on Tuesday 19th May you can park in the spaces around campus that are marked as DCU Staff and Student Permit Parking spaces.
The best place to park for events taking place in Cregan Library is beside the rear entrance into the library. Use the DCU campus entrance between the Lidl car park and the Library (across the road from Il Corvo restaurant) to access this area.
Back entrance into Cregan Library
The rear entrance into the library is in to the left as you drive onto the campus using the entrance beside the Lidl car park. The doors into the library are pictured below, where you can see the panes of coloured glass. Push the button on the wall to open the doors and the library reception desk is to the left.
Clamping
Cars parked on campus without a permit before 3.30 will be clamped.
The only exception to this is the 'Pay For Parking' Car Park. This car park is in to the left after you enter through the main campus gate. If you park here at any time of the day, you must pay the fee identified on the local signage or you will be clamped.
Belvedere House
Clamping is also in operation for the following areas: wheelchair accessible spaces (unless your car displays a blue badge permit), clearly marked no parking spaces in front of areas required for vehicle access, loading bays, spaces with signage that states ‘no parking’ and the area in front of Belvedere House.
