Return Your Library Books
Returning your library material has never been easier...and it won't cost you a cent! DCU Library is commited to being Fine Free Forever, meaning you won't be charged when returning overdue material, no matter how long you've had them borrowed.
Note: Patrons will still be responsible for paying the replacement cost of any lost library item. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to report a missing library book on your account
How to return Library material
Simply return books at the Self Service Machines found in all three library sites. Ask staff on duty for help if required. Always print/email a receipt as confirmation of the return.
Returns can be made on site to library staff at the Issue Desk during opening hours in all our sites.
When the library is closed, you can return loans to our Return Facility located in O’Reilly Library. This facility can receive material from any DCU Library quickly and conveniently when the library buildings are closed
