The development of breast cancer research has been the core focus of investigators, while teams at the LSI are also investigating aspects of pancreatic cancer, brain cancer, ovarian cancer, and melanoma.
Using cell and molecular tools, DCU research is increasing our understanding of the biological characteristics of cancer cells. And crucially, this work helps to identify new therapies that may ultimately improve cancer care and patient outcomes.
