High Growth SMEs

This project explores key management and innovation processes in high growth SMEs. Drawing on a pre-existing Fame database of SMEs that have been identified as exhibiting exemplary growth over a 5 year period the project deploys case study techniques to explore the key managerial activities that have contributed to SME growth, coupled with the key changes in SME infrastructure and processes. In addition the project will explore the key triggers or tipping points of growth over the organisation’s lifecycle. This will make for insights of direct relevance to policy and practitioners.
