DCU Societies win top honours at the BICS awards 2012

DCU Societies win top honours at the BICS awards 2012/Main picture shows – Robyn Keleghan, Franky Harte and Tracey Smith, members for The Media Production Society 2012.

DCU societies were well represented this year at the 2012 Board of Irish College Society Awards. 5 DCU societies competed along with representatives from all other Irish Universities and Colleges. DCU secured top honours in two categories – the Media Production Society won the award for "Best online presence in Ireland" and the RAG society won the award for "Best New Society in Ireland".

Our picture shows the DCU team that attended the BICS, including reps from Dance Society, MPS, RAG, St Vincent de Paul and the Games Society.
